In geography, we studied the question ‘What makes Hackney special?’ We explored Hackney through a walking tour and then we looked at it on various kinds of maps! We explored how to use a map and how to make our own.

In art, we studied Faith Ringgold and made a class quilt depicting different scenes from Homerton High Street and Hackney!

In literacy, we focused on writing non-fiction texts - information posters and instructions!

In science, we focused on plants - the parts of a plant and how they change with the seasons!

In maths, we learned about addition and subtraction!
