Parent / Carer Pages

At Berger, we aim to work in partnership with parents and carers to support children in both their school and home life. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have a question or a concern.

The purpose of this page is to give you quick links to the parts of the website you might find most useful.

Share your expertise

At Berger, we are keen to involve parents, carers and the wider community with the school in as many ways as possible. Children enjoy learning from a diverse range of people and we welcome parents to share their skills and expertise if they are comfortable to do so.

If you would like to volunteer to share something with Berger children, please complete and submit the form below. This will be sent to the senior leadership team and we will respond as soon as possible after consulting with staff. It may not be possible to invite in all parents who wish to share but we will do our best.

Resources Donation

At Berger, we are also keen to reduce, reuse, recycle wherever possible. If you have unneeded, excess resources that may be useful to donate for learning, please complete the form below. The senior leadership team will get back to you about where these may best be used. We are only looking for things which you do not need or want - please do not buy anything for the school.

Some examples of materials that may be useful are listed below

  • white / coloured / black card / paper - any size

  • excess fabric

  • cooking supplies (in date ingredients / equipment)

  • objects or artefacts from other countries or time periods

  • musical instruments

  • art supplies

  • gardening supplies (seeds / soil / equipment)

If you are concerned about your child’s learning or wellbeing, resources and suggested actions can be found on the City and Hackney CAMHS website.

You can also let the school know about your concerns by completing this form or by talking to Emily or Andre.
