Thank you…
As part of our PHSE lessons, we discussed the role of the special people in our lives and how important they are for us. We made cards to say thank you for all that they do for us.

As part of our Maths lesson, we took a little walk in the area to collect some data on the different types of transport we could see. We saw lots of cars, vans, trucks, buses and a few ambulances. We then used this data to create our own bar charts.
Here is our amazing Transport display including our postcards as tourists on the Moon, an explanation text on how to look after the Moon and some art work of different types of transport. We are very proud!
We tested our knowledge of the key events of the Great Fire of London through a game of who wants to be a millionaire. We answered a lot of the questions correctly and won a great prize at the end!
We watched our Tudor houses burn to re-enact the Great Fire of London. We used our senses to think about what we could smell, observe, hear and feel emotionally. We were also able to make links with our Science topic, by thinking about flammable materials and whether having the houses spread apart slowed down the fire. It was a great learning experience!
We planned our own version of Samuel Pepys’ diary by changing parts of his original diary. We used talk4writing actions and text maps to write our own diaries.
