Man on the Moon - job interviews

In Literacy, we conducted interviews to see if we had suitable qualities to be hired as an astronaut to carry out jobs on the Moon. We came up with great questions and displayed great speaking and listening skills!

In Willow class we have great mathematicians! We worked in pairs to identify 10 more and 10 less than a given number.

Game Testing

Our Computing unit this term gave us lots of opportunities to test different games. We predicted the programs and algorithms used to create different games. We also suggested improvements to the games we tested.

Music Workshop

Willow class created wrote a song about Mary Seacole’s journey as a nurse and created a soundscape using a variety of instruments. We had lots of fun making music in this workshop!

Art Workshop

Year 2 took part in an exciting Art workshop where they worked collaboratively to produce a fantastic collage of Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole. We collected lots of paper to match different skin tones, features such as the eyes and lips of our two famous nurses, finally producing a huge collage of their portraits put together.

Life Cycles

In our Art lesson, we created watercolour pencils to create the life cycle of a butterfly and the life cycle of a frog.
